Anubha Kaushik is Professor and former Dean, University School of Environment Management, GGS Indraprastha University, Dwarka, New Delhi. Earlier, she has been Professor, Dean and Chairperson, Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, G J University of Science and Technology, Hisar, India. She obtained her doctorate from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and has been teaching ecology and environmental sciences in M D University, Rohtak, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and G J University of Science and Technology, Hisar for the last 33 years. She has won 8 Gold Medals in her academic career and was awarded Dr. BR Ambedkar Fellowship Award, and Gold Medal and various National Scholarships/ Fellowships. She has published a large number of research papers (about 125) in national and international journals of repute and guided several PG and PhD students. She is in the editorial board of several national and international journals and reviewer of many international journals on environment. She has attended many national and international conferences, seminars, workshops and chaired technical sessions in some of them. She has been a member of the Appellate Authority, Haryana; a Member of State Steering Committee of National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan; Nominee, State Environmental Protection Council, Haryana; Resource Person of United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI, Fulbright) at International Round Table (SAARC) on Environment and Health, National Mission for Clean Ganga, Government of India and member of several other prestigious academic and advisory committees of University Grants Commission, All India Radio and various Indian universities. C P Kaushik is Professor and Head Research, Amity School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Amity University Haryana, Gurugram. Earlier he has been Dean and Chairman, Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, and Academic Affairs, G J University of Science and Technology, Hisar, India. He obtained his MPhil and Doctorate from the University of Delhi, Delhi. He has a vast teaching and research experience of 38 years of which more than 18 years as a Professor. He was awarded various National Scholarships/Fellowships during his academic and research career. He has published over 100 research papers in international (60) and national journals of repute with high impact factor. He has guided 17 PhD, 83 MTech and 03 MPhil students and has handled a number of major research and consultancy projects. He has attended many national and international conferences and chaired technical sessions in some of them. He also organised many international and national conferences, seminars, workshops and consortia. He has been member of several prestigious committees of Ministry of Human Resource Development, GOl, University Grants Commission, Department of Science and Technology, National Council of Educational Research and Training, National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Department of Environment, Govt. of Haryana and academic and administrative bodies of various Indian universities. He has been a member of State Expert Appraisal Committee of State EIA Authority (Haryana) for according Environmental Clearance to developmental projects. He is also a member of Accreditation Committee of National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET) of the Quality Council of India.
